Grazie per il tuo interesse nel voler proporre una presentazione e per aiutarci a realizzare un fantastico WordCamp a Bologna!
Cose da sapere se vuoi inviare la tua proposta:
- Ogni relatore ha diritto ad un biglietto gratuito per l’ingresso al WordCamp Bologna e un invito alla eventuale cena VIP del giorno precedente.
- È vietata l’autopromozione durante la presentazione.
- Ogni presentazione sarà registrata e caricata su WordPress.tv quindi dovrai firmare il modulo per consentire l’autorizzazione alla pubblicazione della tua relazione.
- Dovrai inviare le slide qualche settimana prima del WordCamp per consentirci di revisionarle per tempo.
- WordCamp Bologna ha un Codce di Condotta che tutti devono rispettare.
Come verranno selezionati i relatori
Le candidature possono essere inviate entro e non oltre il 10 aprile 2018.
Dopo la chiusura delle candidature gli organizzatori del WordCamp Bologna esamineranno le presentazioni in base all’argomento, all’interesse assunto per i partecipanti e alla qualità della relazione.
Se vuoi inviare più di un argomento allora compila il form per ogni argomento di cui vorresti parlare.
Quali argomenti proporre
Il WordCamp Bologna è il primo WordCamp interamente rivolto agli sviluppatori, esperti, intermedi e principianti.
Questo evento sarà un percorso formativo di una giornata sia per chi vuole cominciare a programmare usando WordPress sia per chi è già esperto ma vuole aumentare il suo bagaglio culturale e migliorare le sue competenze e poter offrire un prodotto di qualità.
Qui di seguito alcune idee su argomenti che ci piacerebbe venissero trattati:
- Come diventare uno sviluppatore WordPress
- CSS e/o JS
- Ambiente di sviluppo
- Gutenberg, React, Blocchi ecc
- Temi WordPress
- Plugin WordPress
- Creare UI custom per temi e plugin usando i componenti offerti da WordPress (Customizer API / Settings API)
- Strutturare il lavoro per lavorare con temi o plugin di terze parti
- REST API
- Mobile APP
- WordPress per headless CMS
- Database: ottimizzazione e/o uso
- WP-CLI per plugin e/o temi (comandi standard e custom)
- Unit testing e/o Test Driven Development
- Automazione Quality Assurance
- WPO – Web Performance Optimization

Thanks for your interest in speaking and helping us put on an amazing WordCamp Bologna!
If you submit a proposal, here’s what you need to know:
- Speakers get a free ticket to WordCamp and an invitation to a possible VIP dinner prior to the event, but are not otherwise compensated.
- Sessions cannot be sales pitches for your product or services.
- Each session will be recorded and submitted to WordPress.tv, so you’ll need to sign an A/V release form.
- We will request presentation slides for review a few weeks before WordCamp. Make sure you can meet that deadline.
- WordCamp Bologna has a Code of Conduct which applies to all participants at all WordCamp Bologna events.
How Speakers will be Selected
The deadline for speaker submissions is April 10, 2018.
Once speaker applications close, the WordCamp Bologna organizing team will review the submissions based on topic, assumed interest to attendees, and quality of application.
If you’d like to propose multiple topics, please submit the form multiple times, once for each topic.
What topics to propose
The WordCamp Bologna is the first WordCamp for developers, advanced, intermediate and beginners.
This event will be a formative path to learn more about WordPress development for every one who want to improve their personal skills.
